With freedom in mind, faith in words, pride in our hearts and memories in our souls, we celebrated the 74th Republic Day in all its grandeur and glory. The day commenced with the morning prayer followed by a beautiful rendition of 'Let my country awake' written by Rabindranath Tagore. The shivers flowed down the spine when the girls of Grades 8th and 9th demonstrated the true meaning of 'Bharat' through a Kathak Performance. Nothing was more glorious than when Dr. B R Ambedkar himself answered the questions of a commoner about the need for a Constitution for a Democratic India. Grade 5 students presented the act with promise and dedication. The entire premise resounded with the words of 'Sare Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara'. To add on, Principal Ms. Poonam Kumar Mendiratta addressed the learners and motivated them to ignite the fire within to contribute to the building of our nation. The harmonious recital of our National Song ' Vande Mataram' glorified the occasion to the hilt. The unfurling of the National Flag made everyone salute the contributions of the freedom fighters who gave their lives for a free and independent INDIA. The morning came to an end with the National Anthem. Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day.
