It was surely this Christmas, for all to remember. Our school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
In the special assembly on Christmas, the children witnessed the nativity play showing the birth of the Lord Jesus and the glory behind this festival. The auspicious day was also graced by two eminent personalities Mr. Subhash Borker and Mr. S N Sahu. They enlightened the students by emphasizing the lessons given by Mahatma Gandhi ji which are very relevant in this 21st century. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated in our young manthanites in the true sense when they donated clothes to the less privileged. Our respected Principal Ma’am and the esteemed guests appreciated the students’ presentation and inspired them with their kind words.
The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when candies were distributed in the classes. The delightful celebration included children wearing Santa caps and headbands in red and white, bringing their favorite food for lunch, dancing and sharing the merriment together.
