What food is to the body, reading is to the mind and book clubs are a great way to develop a reading culture among society members. The last book club meet for session 2022 – 23 was held on the school premises. The enthusiasts and avid readers as students and parents were present for the same. The guest author Ms. Meenu Tripathi, a short story writer and recipient of the Naresh Mehta Award for the book ‘Abhar Tumhara’ graced the occasion with her presence. In her address to the audience, she emphasised the importance of reading. She also shared the anecdotes that motivated her to start writing for children.
Following that, the pedantic students were rewarded with the Book Club Titles. To brighten up the event students along with their parents participated in a Book Cover Design Activity and impressed the judges with their ravishing designs.
The event culminated with the riveting words of our Principal Ms Poonam Kumar Mendiratta.
