Visual Arts

The integration of Visual Arts at Manthan allows students to attempt artistic projects that enhance imagination, higher- order thinking skills, creativity and knowledge on both art and science. These projects provide outstanding opportunities for students to discover and explore the world on their own.

Art Education is an important component of childhood development. At Manthan, students are exposed to multiple techniques and art appreciation focused on developing aesthetic sensibilities. Art teaches children that problems can give more than one solution and that questions can have more than one answer. A wide range of experiences is provided to our students through drawing, painting and craftwork. Art education develops creativity and problem - solving skills, improves judgment and shows children that there are multiple perspectives. It teaches students to think through and within the material. The arts' position at the Manthan school curriculum symbolizes to the young what adults believe is important.
