The Manthan School understands the spirit and importance of Field Trips and Excursions in the life of school children, therefore provide support to students to explore and make the learning meaningful.
Excursion is usually made for leisure, education and physical purposes.
Short excursion for education or for natural phenomena are called Field Trips, and are recognized as important moments in learning, a shared social experience that provides the opportunity for students to encounter and explore novel things in realistic settings.
Both Field Trips and Excursions deepens and enhances classroom learning, thus making it into lifelong learning.
Students gathered a learning and enriching experience as they saw the timeline of Gandhiji in the form of miniature display, the giant charkha, video clippings and the world peace gong at Gandhi Smriti.
As part of the integrated study module students of the Manthan School visited Radio Mirchi station 98.3FM.Students learnt about the importance of voice modulation in effective communication. They learnt about mass communication, how millions of people could hear our voice with the help of technology. They also gained practical knowledge and concrete experience. Overall it was a memorable experience for students as well as teachers.
Education away from the class room environment is both productive and invigorating. This was seen clearly, when the students of Pre- primary visited National BalBhawan. The children were in high spirit as they looked forward to the day. Enthralling cultural graffiti of all the states of India, miniature paintings of madhubani, handmade sketches, birds and magic mirrors, the culture and craft village were the major attraction of BaLBhawan was greatly enjoyed by the students.
The Pre primary students of The Manthan School, went for a fun trip to McDonald’s. They had a gala time with their friends and also enjoyed the mouth watering snacks. They danced and played in the exclusive Birthday party section with their friends. They were also shown & explained that how the burgers and other products are stored & prepared.
Students gathered an enriching, learning experience and gained significant knowledge on the need to preserve the plant species. Students were amazed to see different species of the Cactus family, a rare species of green rose, dog flower and many medicinal plants like the Arjun tree. Children also got to see 70 varieties of fruits. The resource person interestingly shared valuable information on trees and integrated mythical and characters from legendary epics.
